I should try that plasti-dip on the handles of a few of my Busse users. Bet it's a lot more comfortable than G10 for chopping.

yup , but frankly im still using OH HC blades that are older then i am.... mainly for garden work... they just dont die that easy ... the handles knock off pretty quick.... but the most chop i do with em is on a cutting board.... theres also this beauty.....from a diff company ![[Linked Image from procutlery.com]](http://www.procutlery.com/osc/images/S118.jpg)

You can make it as thick as you want and if you change your mind, slice it with a razor blade and peel it off. I just got done coating a few pairs of pliers also. This stuff is too cool.

i have built a few hand tools and used plastic dip... it should work out , but it can get annoying.... my friend used to wrap this flexable screen stuff and dip it if you did it lite enough it got a nice checkered grip pattern... he also played around with letting it dry for a little bit then roll a texture into the grip surfaces....

I think someone brought up the idea of a scrap yard cutlass in the knife design thread. i think that would be really cool
