Hey Mag... http://www.reaper.fm/it's a audio recording program I'm going to play around with for anwhile just o get familiar with it. You might want to check it out. 5500Kb/s been wondering where you've been. what you dl? Wish you were here. It was almost 2 gigs. a few hundred MBs a song. I know I don't have anything needed to properly listen to it, but it sounds unreal on my Klipsch promedia 2.1 system, playing off my laptop. The torrent said it was directly from vinyl. Ah well, I have it.

There's a mac version. That's what I'm using it on. Seems to be pretty straight forward and there's a lot of community support. Progrms that cost a lot more wouldnt even run on my older computer and this one didn't even hiccup. Looks good... Should be a helpful tool.

Ah well, I have it. i think that the stuff you read on the headphone fora blow things out of proportion. $600 should be plenty for a home listening rig with your computer as source. i spent much more than that because i out my foot in the water with cheaper stuff first and opted to upgrade, kinda like with knives. just go for the gold. tell me what you wanna spend and what you're listening to. do it once and do it right.
