I reached my JYD posting the stories about how I came across each one of my firearms. I just used as many posts as I felt I needed. When I looked back it was actually more interesting than I thought. So how did it kick off for you guys (first gear)? Knife, sling shot, bb/pellet gun?
I bougt a dollar knife from Kmart that I wish I still had. Mabye a 2 inch blade but that sucker held up. Next was a cheap bb pistol for like $30. I could literally see the bb falling before it hit the targets. I'm glad I decided to upgrade.
Left those off of my story...

uhoh .... theres a bama clay on the xchange..... wonder what MM is planning.... its purty if i had the extra cash i might of even went for it You're at least the third person to bring that up. I think I've gotten a reputation as a Bama Clay whore. I even had two people PM me on bladeforums to let me know about it. I just saw that one, and not a terrible price (for the exchange). My guess with his kidney gone and CC melted he is going to pass. Ding ding ding we have a winner. I actually could have picked up a NMFBM at factory prices at BLADE Atlanta, but I just wasn't interested. Even if I wasn't broke, I don't think it's worth it. Besides, there's no way it will outchop the killa zilla, and I frankly don't need TWO ridiculously overpriced, gigantic Busse choppers.

I'm gonna need a lot more income to keep this pace....
You and me both, brother - I've already started searching for faculty jobs that pay a bit more, so I can finance my addiction. I can't wait till my Blade West goodies get here. You know when they'll get shipped? Garth and Waz are driving back to Ohio - they will get shipped to me once they get back. It'll be 2-3 days after that until I get them, and then I can start sorting through the box and tallying up prices for the blades. I hope I can remember what everyone asked me to snag for them. I'm not even really sure what's in the box. I think one of the Dumpster Mutts or Yard Keepers might be Bama Clay, or something pretty close to it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
