awesome. growing up everyone expected me to become an architect. my father's an engineer, i was a sketch artist, and i appreciate that type of stuff. maybe they were right and that's the path i should have taken. those links are extremely cool.

for the guy I'd say spend a little more and go with the Studio Projects C1. The C1 comes with a case and a shock mount and once again has really crossed different styles of recordings. For you I think you will like the Joe Meek JM37DP. I've had a few guys loving these on amps and even for drums. Lots of vocals with these as well. The DP stands for dual path which gives you a few options for mic placement. The JM37 seems to have shined with my rock guys.
I'm actually planning to slip some other goodies in the box with the cans. They are coming... Don't have to wonder why i use "lazi" anymore... thanks for the help, lazi.

I've got an itch for a new tacti-cool flashlight... looking for best bang for the buck. What do you death chattin' dawgs think?? Something in a pocket size that throws some serious lumens would scratch that itch quite well.

MM i would DEFINITELY look into malkhoff lights. I had a regular Surefire G2 and dropped in the M60L in it and i must say it is absolutely FANTASTIC. 140+ lumens with 4 1/2 hours runtime, its the perfect all-arounder. http://www.malkoffdevices.com/He has a full body available too if you dont already own a light he makes dropins for. Go for it, you wont regret it.

Enjoy every sandwich.

don't you love it when girls swear you snapped at them when you didn't? how are they gonna tell you how you feel!?!? how is that reason for them to be mad at you?! if you had snapped, that means THEY did something to upset YOU. if you didn't snap, they did nothing wrong, and there's no reason to argue.
yet...an argument ensues regardless. then if you don't admit guilt, despite innocence, you get the silent treatment after hearing "fine. if you say so." irritating.

I've been checking out tons of flashlights at www.bonanzle.com.My buddy turned me on to the site. Supposedly only about 100k people are registered on it. It might me a good resource to keep an eye on.
