Evening. I did a little light chopping today on some serious hardwood today. I took a few pics, but by that time it was so hot I decided I wanted the comfort of the ac in the car. Got to say I could not see a lot of difference between the DDF and the CCGFBM today.

ugh. I have that sinking feeling in my stomach - just listed some knives that I love on BF. Hopefully I set the prices so high that very few people will be interested. I had to make the effort because my fiance and I are worried about the repairs we've gotta do. I ended up listing a lot more of them than I wanted to.

I'll tell ya, I can't wait to find a new job and move... I like my current job, but am sick of the weather here in the south, and sick of my neighborhood, and sick of my house.

The people who built this POS were real morons. Some jackhole skimping a few bucks to not install flashing properly has cost me a thousand bucks. I'm so tempted to do a crappy quick fix repair, knowing I'll sell the house in a year or two...

Oh yeah, best part? All of the home repair companies are too busy to do any work right now, because of all the flooding... so the only ones who are available are the ones who will take advantage of the storms to rip you off. I'm getting gouged big time. If I didn't have massive amounts of work to do that keep me in the lab, and water leaking into my house, there's no way I'd pay these prices.

my friend was in the same spot with a septic tank MM.... lets put it this way ... he had a portajohn out side his kitchen for about 2 years .... and when he got up enough funds to repair it.... one of the companys tattled on him , and the health department showed up and re designed it for him... and doubled the cost...

That bites, home repairs are crappy. I think that the old adage of owning a boat is close to a house. Now, I could see myself living on a nice houseboat on a large lake or the coast somewhere. When I get tired of an area, pull anchor an move.

I am looking forward to cooler weather, rain, and snow. I wish we would get real snow here and not ice. Ice sucks.

Geting some heat cables installed today to protect me from the snow and ice. Don't want an ice dam coming under the shingles and running water in..

Both cold and hot have individual problems..I'll take the cold rain and snow..jerry song..
