u can't own a blackhawk where u live? I don't even want to know about an AR15 then.... I hear it's almost impossible to get a CCW there too. In Illinois? There are no carry permits. At all. None in Wisconsin either.

i got an email about an opportunity with a firm outside of chicago.
need to think about this. Can be beautiful but living in Cook County has a lot of drawbacks. My younger bro is leaving there in the spring after being there for 10 yrs.

hah. i'll have to check the gun laws in illinois. the biggest reason i haven't bought a blackhawk yet is where i live. You have to have a special lic to even hold a gun, to buy ammo, etc. I have other family that lives in southern IL and they can only deer hunt with a shotgun.

do you guys know the difference between these mags? https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/33I want a double mag case, but what's the difference between single row and double row? They make single mag and double cases in both single and double row so I'm getting confused. does it mean the same thing as single and double stacked mags? Single row is for single stack like a 1911 and the double is for double stacked like Glock, etc.

i can, but it's a hassle. every time you want to buy a handgun here it's paperwork and a month's wait, then a short window to actually purchase. easier to get an AR, actually. Sucks dude. I can buy a handgun in 5, maybe 10 minutes. OK has a lot of problems but gun ownership is a good thing here.

I need to find a new read. I am more of the reality person, but I should ope up to fiction writing too. The last fiction I read was Dune, but that is because i wanted to see the movie again.
