When you shop for grandkids, nieces and nephews and other kids you get to know a LOT of toys! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I normally don't shop for the kiddies in my life. I normally either make or find things. For example, I recently gave them photos of mountain goats and bighorn sheep, and then I gave them mountain goat fur and bighorn sheep fur, to get a sense of what these animals smell like and feel like. I also gave them some slabs of sandstone and and some pieces of chert, so they could make petroglyphs.

Or I order books for them, online. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Those sound like great gifts for slightly older kids, but the younger ones still prefer toys. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
