Hey guys, anybody do anything exciting for holloween?
Just stayed home watching UGA vs Florida football and now Texas vs Ok St. now...great games.

I canceled my plans due to rain, since it was an outdoor event - instead I've spent the weekend catching up with chores around the house. Am working on faculty application packets as we speak.

Faculty as in a physics professor at a university or college. So far my list of schools that I'm applying to is about 15 different institutions. I'm not sure I'm going to go for all of those, though - some require a research plan with a budget, and I'm not prepared to put together that type of long term planning at this point in my career. Others are more teaching focused, and that's where I'm spending most of my energy.
