How does one go about taking such clear photos of a flying bird?!? I do have a 600 f/4 lens, a 2x tele and a custom tripod. However, these hawk pics were taken with a handheld 300 f/4 lens with a 1.4x teleconverter. As for how I do it – in brief: effort, love, and conscientiousness. my uncles got a nice harris hawk hes had for 2 years now...i wanna get into falconry but just dont have the time with school

Evo, the close up of the hawk's head is awesome. Very nice work! I also loved the lake picture in "Getting Luckier". A+ all the way.
