Anyone else see that new flashlight that uses a capacitator instead of a battery.
You can re-charge it in less than a minute

the 2xAA maglight with the cree dropin is as much light as i'll ever need. still, i had to buy six other lights.

Flashlights are cool. Wish I could get into them more, but it cuts into my steel fund. I can't bring myself to spend more than $20 on a flashlight

I can't bring myself to spend more than $20 on a flashlight if i get the new P1D, you can have my old one for that if you wanna see what all the fuss is about fenix.

I carry a Fenix L1D everyday. They run about 50 bucks. I love it.

I have not looked at LED drop ins, what do they run? 20-40 bucks for nice ones.

might as well, it's barely seen any use. we say "a knife unused is a knife abused," which i don't subscribe to, but for flashlights that's just a waste.

A buddy has a Fenix I am supposed to check out next time we get together. I am not sure of the model but he is impressed.
