The regulator is awesome - I would sell my much-loved SoD before I gave up having a regulator in my stable.

Really? I'm not really liking the grip design. It might actually feel great though.

It does feel awesome in hand. The knife is a phenomenal all around utility camp blade - the thin yet beefy tip is awesome for drilling, prying, digging, and so on, while the thick full flat ground blade is great for wood splitting. It chops pretty well too.

That long tip is great for jabbing down into stumps for prying out fatwood. I know most people like a wider tip for a camp / wood processing blade, but the Regulator has a few tricks up its sleeve that the normal camp blade doesn't.

I'll probably have to get one just to see for myself. It definitely has it's own original look I think.

Yes indeed it does. Our inside salesman quit on us so I've been doing his job as well as mine lately. We hired a new delivery driver and he knows nothing at all about windows or doors so I'm trying to train him too. It's kinda crazy around here right now.

I've thrown almost everything I could at that knife and it comes back for more every time. I've chopped concrete blocks with it, 50 gallon steel drums, batoned through 8" chunks of seasoned hardwood, steel cables. I've abused it pretty good.

I just refinished it though and I think I'm going to retire him he's been through enough.
