Same here. Valley Tin Works stripped one and sanded down the grips til they were smooth... I didn't like that at all. I did like his stripped DF though. As long as HE likes them though, thats all that matters. I'd NEVER do it myself though!!

That was the thread I saw Dice..it was VTW not Jaxx. And you're right, as long as he likes it, its all good. My first impression was good, just didn't stay with me.

Ordered a Sage Warden this morning!

just ran through the fbm compilation thread...man i am gonna burst if it doesn't show soon.

I was insanely tempted to get a warden last night. I was thinking about the Sage - but if thats black micarta (looks grey in the pix) I don't think I'll like it as much when it darkens up. The tiger or jungle or whatever it was GW is too sweet though.

I liked the sage for the black and wanted a slimmer blade.
Another crazy week for me, ordered a HRLM with sheath this morning too... Just scored a SS4, scored a Scrapper 6 at the ganza... And waiting (im)patiently for the new scrapyard offering!

Thats a lot of steel Coldone. I'm on the downhill side of a big buying spree. Some lucky (slow) dog is getting my Scrapper6 - I had to withdraw because of a ton of things coming up that I NEED to buy, and the fact that the new offering is going to be so similar. I've spent like $1500 in two months though. You did that much in just a couple of days though huh!

I just keep telling myself I have a couple of overtime cheques coming! And tuesday is payday!

Truth be told, i have a ton of excuses I am using on myself.... Actually still looking at the Tiger warden.. Just too nice looking!
