AND it IS better to well ah oh say injure one and have 2-4 others have to carry him out that to just remove 1. Wartime, it's all about numbers, and HOW you get them by limiting YOUR numbers.

We don't have built in armor, or our own personal defense devices (claws, sharp teeth) that a large part of the animal kingdom does have.
Sometimes smaller(caliber) IS better, at least to an extent.
