I'm pretty concerned about this Turkish knife from my mother in law getting through customs from Russia...

I wouldn't worry about it unless it is something illegal to own!

My mother in law has sent us stuff like 6 months ago - kids books and things - that just never made it...

Well, it appears that we have the same grips - maybe mine are mags as well - I'm counting the black lines in the G10 - in the thin part, yours has 6 full sets of lines, mine has like 5.5. 10 in the thick parts, so does mine. Either way, those are two strikingly beautiful knives. I'm glad that I have both as well!

Very, very close anyways. Does anyone have both mags and regular grips? how much of a difference is there?
