For those wondering, it is a CGFBM with a black blade and magnum blue/black G10 handle. The magnum handle feels great in the hand compared to the regular micarta on my SJTAC. Glad I went with the mags on my badger!

Coldone... I do have to say, that you have the most BEAUTIFUL combination of colors on that knife of yours....

Although I think that the Urban Grey looks a touch better - I did hear that the grey tends to chip, and that the tan and black seem to wear the most gracefully...

I hope so, cause I ordered one for the DF from him! The CGFBM one is an A-7 from Okuden with a thumb strap.

That same # inspector thing is wierd... I just now noticed that!

Mine came in the sheath, so it had no inspector # (or I was just so excited while tearing into the box that I lost it...)

Mine came from "Robstar" in Canada - boy was it a long wait! Like 2 weeks...

Mine came from Alaska Gun in, well, Alaska... Bet you didn;t see that one coming! Took a little over 2 weeks to get here. Great to deal with though!

Well, it appears that we have the same grips - maybe mine are mags as well - I'm counting the black lines in the G10 - in the thin part, yours has 6 full sets of lines, mine has like 5.5. 10 in the thick parts, so does mine. Either way, those are two strikingly beautiful knives. I'm glad that I have both as well!

Very, very close anyways. Does anyone have both mags and regular grips? how much of a difference is there?

I figure that I did pretty well considering it was the secondary market - it sure wouldn't have lasted long if I didn't snatch it up! I sat there for like 5 minutes debating it with myself - luckily it was like 2AM and the only other person who was looking at it was Morimotom - who I had been emailing back and forth with about how I needed to get my hands on one (so he let me have it!)

we should call this thread Cold One and Diceman babble excitedly about their FBM's. Congrats guys those magnums look amazing. CO your DF looks like it has put on some miles, mine is still minty but not for long. Does your FBM fit in the DF sheath? I was quite happy with my sheath and it fits my multitool in the pouch perfect. I may spring for the spec ops navigator sheath for my Dumpster Mutt.

CGFBM fits nicely in the DF sheath - the retaining strap doesn't work perfectly (gotta kinda cant it to get over the hilt) but it works good enough!

I've got a Ranger RD6 sheath sitting here waiting for the dumpster mutt.

I don't remember exactly what they charged me, but I think it was around the $20 mark. I was very happy about it!

Yup, the FBM fits in the DF sheath, however only with the edge in one direction. Binds up in the other direction.

They are mags. I checked last nite. Blue and black was only available in the mag configuration.
