That happens every once in awhile here with all the canals

When ems and troopers arrived on scene witnesses said they tried to pull her out of the vehicle but they couldn't hold on and she got sucked under the water. This was the morning of the 24th. They are going to continue the search this morning the 26th at 0700 local. Still have not found her. Flooded ditch and lot of debris in the water and the site is not that far away from a river. Bad scene all around. I can't even imagaine how her family is feeling, but my prayers go out for their well being.

Christmas for us was pretty good. Not the stress that years past have been. I got home at 0830 and started helping the wife. She fixed the apple pie, cole slaw, mashed spuds and the rolls. I Grilled the Pork Steaks and fixed Phyllis's dressing (in the scrapyard cookbook thread) its easy and delicious!!!
My folks brought some ham and cheesecake.

With all the flooding, it's possible she may not be found for quite a while. I'm Praying it does not take any more than today to find her, so her family can at least get SOME respite from the stress of wondering.
