I know but I'm still wanting something right about now. discipline! go get a $15 spring pistol if you have to. i completely broke down.. was suppose to have a saiga by now, but ordered the waki. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> should have gotten a plastic sword instead. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Yeah I read something about the higher cap ruger mags, don't recall much though because I was already set on the saiga.

I have some cash saved up and there is a guy that is offering to sell a 1895 SBL Marlin Guide Gun but have not heard back from him. It is a .45-70 gov't that has the things that I want to upgrade my standard Guide Gun to. If I got it, then I would sell my GG. If I don't hear soon I might be forced to get a BW Mistress even though I don't need it.

Oh man, I forgot to tell you guys, stopped by my local Big 5 today to look at shotguns/rifles since I was in the area and had a few minutes to kill. Some guy at the counter asks to see a shotgun, the salesman grabbed the shotgun, POINTED the muzzle at the other salesman brain/head while he cocked it and check to make sure the chamber was empty. I don't think he did it intentionally but geeeez!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

If you're going to hire some guy to work the firearms dept., they don't need to be geniuses but have some dang common sense! Thing was the other guy being pointed in the head inches away didn't even move either.

That video is good. The lever action is the one I have and he must be using handloaded cowboy loads. No way the recoil of the M1A will move you more than a .45-70 govt rd.
