It's 0242BST here and LIGHTLY raining. We dodged another bullet Wednesday. Was supposed to snow/freezing rain but all that happened was a very very light snow that only lasted for a short while. Not even enough to see on the ground and then it warmed up. Good thing for us though.

Somber, in response to your question about the chief deputy, here he is the 2nd in command of the Sheriff's Office. He sometimes comes in early and it just so happened that he did on Wednesday morning.

Actually he almost always comes on by 0600 BST and just patrols around the county until about 0800. But as I said, sometimes he comes on and comes up the office early which is what he did Wednesday morning.
