Thats cool, bald eagles are pretty awesome, the only time I've seen on was at the Kennedy space station, and it was chilling with a bunch of vultures eating a dead thing, not the most inspiring scene

Funny you should mention that. She told us about how she was on a tour down there several years ago and saw an eagle doing the same thing. She said the guide told them the eagle lived on the site.

Yeah, they have a couple of them apparently, the driver/guide lost his mind when he saw them, stated yelling "EAGLE EAGLE EAGLE"!!! funniest thing ever

She's an amazing woman. Her husband died of a brain anurism(?) When when she was in her 30's. They had 3 kids and she supported herself and them by doing sewing work for people. Then when her youngest was a junior in college she finished putting her AND HERSELF through sewing and she was between 45 and 48 when she graduated. She has been teaching now for 30 years (she turned 78 last month) and she can put most 40 year olds to shame. She is VERY active and spry and mean as a snake! But she also has a very nice heart, when she dares to let it show. We go to church with her.

She's the same lady I live beside (houses were like 30 feet apart) and were maybe 6-700 sqft. (back in 1959), Anyway, we moved, then they moved. I went into the Air Force in 1974 and then called my parents (well they were supposed to) but her number was one number from my parents. They called at midnight and asked her if she would accept a collect call from me. She said "let him call his own mother" and hung up! Well they finally got my parents.

I didn't know anything about her until 1994. The house I bought when I retired from the Air force was directly behind hers!

She loves telling the story about us living beside each other when I was a kid, her not taking my midnight collect call and then 20 years later moving in by her again! THEN she says "I should a killed him when he was a kid. I could of taken him then" Then she gets a twinkle in her eye and smiles.
