pretty much how I felt after grabbing my maxped sitka. I really just wanted a souped up school style back pack. The Sitka is a great bag but day to day I'm not organized enough to use it for what it's worth. A lot of times I just need to shove a bunch of random crap in a bag and take it from one place to another. It could be laptops, audio cables, or clothes depending on the day. The sitka doesnt really work that good for a shove in and roll bag. I'm going to pack it up full of good stuff and leave in the car once I find something else that will fit my day to day needs.

yea i been looking for a good little back pack ... sling bags are nice but i kinda want one that you can throw on and walk in the woods... a few pockets are nice... i gave up on civi ones ... just so many little fiddly options... and i have some molle stuff sitting around and i find molle just handy any way. but i think i might pick up the spec-ops the pack , or im looking at an old schooler duluth pack... and buying a munch of little sub load stuff sacks .... i have a box of em from random gear over the years any way...
