never been a fan of glocks, just a personal preference. shot my brother's .40 cal. and was like meh, good gun, reliable, easy to take apart, but there was something i didn't like about it.

it all depends on what you're looking for, 9mm, .40, or .45 cal. in 9mm there is always the hi-power, sig, and glock. i prefer the 226 sig myself. but you can't really go wrong with a glock in 9mm.

in .40cal, you can find one cheap because alot of police departments are trading them out. but i'm not a big fan of the caliber either.

Never could buy a glock myself. Spent less and more just to dance around the glock. I still think that if I want a small 9mm that can hold 30+ rounds then it's a 19 or 26. For whatever reasons I kind of want something with a 30 round mag in 9mm.

I still probably wouldn't buy a glock unless it was extra, extra cash I was spending but i cant take em off the plate. I know for some it would be first and last but if i evr bought one I'd be buying the grip mod within a matter of minutes. Maybe I'll rent one on the next trip to the range just for the experience of it.

I'm going to get a Glock 26 before they switch to 4th Gen, CA law is going to require Loaded chamber indicator and Magazine disconnect (can't fire without a magazine).

My FiveSeven has the magazine disconnect thing. I don't really care for it. Just one more thing to be in the way of what the gun is made to do... Shoot!

The reason I can't stand magazine disconnect is IF you lose your magazines in a SHTF situation, you couldn't even single load and fire. I know in some guns you could take it apart, but I rather not mess with that and the law.

Give me a wheelgun with a half dozen SLs on my belt.
Smith 500 works just fine.

Congrats on the sander jroden, lose the top and side cover, just gets in the way for belt changes. On my sander I remove the flat rest as well.
