Ah yes- filling that gap in your needs can be important. Like having the right knives- you can never have too many <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />. Probably the same thing with packs. Let us know how it works out for you. I usually cover at least 10 miles per day- so it would be a workout. I rarely use big packs anymore. I mostly set up camp and carry everything in a camelback stryker. Usually enough to get me through a bad situation plus everything I need to gut, quarter and pack and elk or drag if possible.

I have a 3000 cu Kelty for a Bob.

I've got a badlands whitetail hybrid pack.
Wish I got the one my brother has, it's a badland as well but it has the back seperated from the back by a mesh screen.
I sweat like a bugger and it would have been better for me

Badlands look to be a great pack. Don't have one yet but will have one very soon. Something undr 1500 though. I just don't need a great big pack.

Just listed my house for sale, for quite a bit less than I paid for it, but at least it's going on the market.
