My S5 is always in my truck as well.

I havent even used my S5LE yet...but I did sharpen it, wrecking the resale, so now I have to keep it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of one of my S5s though. I dont really think I am going to wear out my user any time soon, and it doesnt make any sense to have 2 users to me.

i think its cool how there arent a whole lot of scrap yard blades out there, make me feel exclusive lol. and when you see someone in your area that has one its like HEY! i got one too :] lol

I ran into one of the guys that works the knife counter at the local Bass Pro when I was having lunch at the Sonic. I was working so I had my Reg. on my side. He walked over to ask me "who made that knife" and I told him that it was a Test Team Edition Scrap Yard bowie. He was like "I've heard of them".
I let him check it out for a minute while he gabbed about how he had been trying for months to find a knife from SY that he could afford. I of course gave him the low down on the upcoming Regulator release. I could tell he didn't want to put the TT blade down but I explained to him that he would need to get his own and not to get too much drool on mine.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he was lurking in here right now.
I love getting reactions from wearing this thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I went into home depot with my BWBM on my belt today - was doing a lot of yard work getting the house ready to sell, and using the BWBM to clear brush and trim branches. Had to run to HD for some mulch.

I got a few weird looks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

It's like some folks will look at it and you can tell they want your knife. Others will peek a few times and pretend they were looking somewhere else. More often that not, most seem to look at you like you're walking around with no pants on when you have over 6 inches of steel hanging from your belt.

I don't see the major difference in having a knife or having a framing hammer on your belt but for everyone else it's like the hammer makes you a useful member of society and the other makes you a terrorist.

Too funny.

ESee, it's funny, I walk around with no pants on and people stare at me like I'm carrying around huge tool/weapon <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I bought a bunch of S5s thinking I needed to have users everywhere. Started using the first one and realized that one or two would be plenty. Just sold off a LE. It was hard to do but i'm sure he new owner will enjoy it more.

Now fhe ScrapMuk is another story... I would love to have another one or two.

I'm down to just one S5CG. I really can't see needing more than just one.

I wish I would have used my brn/brn one and saved the gray/black one to get rid of.

Seems like it would have greater universal appeal.

The brown one is really, really sweet with that brown Buy Brown kydex though.
