not to much , designing a 40 foot conex camper.... maybe ill need a cdl soon.....

heh ... ok guys so heres the plan ... beside my normaly shop , i have a 40 foot conex i been basicly living and working out of for a bit. and im am almost to the point saving up wise (bussekin willing) for 20-40 some place , i think i found a few spots but its going to be a couple years....

so with my left over money im putting togeather an off the grid set up augmented by grid while i build it and to help run the shop ... then ill pack and strap down conex and ship and drop ... as the first cube... then build on it from there converting it into a work area for my business and build a small house with power on site and ready to go no need for grid.... i will probably have to drop to sat inet... which the way my dsl company is now ... i might have to do any way as cable running isnt going my way for another 5 years here.

so far im thinking montana , i also have offers in ca , and OR and northern ID...

so yea ... kinda drawing up some stuff here and tehre as i do have a couple years left around here with my close family before i wanns move...

Sounds good. I'm looking for a little plot of land myself. After 15 years of marriage I'm divorced and now since it's just me I want to build myself a little cabin out somewhere on a few acres or so.

Been looking at a couple of different lots but nothing in my price range has really caught my attention yet.

I gotta sell my Waki at least.

Maybe even my Meaner.

I think the lust for this mac is going to overthrow my love for Bussekin.

Wow, that is bad to get rid of the Waki and Meaner. Then again I totally understand too.

I have been struggling with the idea of selling my DDF. I snagged it in the ganza and still haven't used it. I really wish I had gotten 2 of them now.

I sold it pretty soon after buying it and using it a bit. Not a fan of the saber grind, and it wasn't terribly sharp. I have big INFI choppers that outperform the DDF, so pretty much the only thing it has going for it was the res-c handle. I'm generally not in love with fat choppers, when a well sharpened and properly wielded thinner knife can generally come very close to matching the performance of a big fat monstrosity on many materials, and even beat the fattie in some materials.

Hey MM- buy yourself a couple cheapie Tramontina machetes and convex them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. Tweak out the grip a bit to fit your hands and it will out chop just about anything out there <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />. Kinda like Mora knives. Jimmie ( Tolly) is a wizard on the belt- makes those trams flat out perform. Give it a whirl- sure doesn't cost much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I saw a few of these today for 10 bucks and they had plastic handles. I might get one or two so when I get my sander I can practice on larger blades too. They also had some from El Salvador that were orange with Marbles marking on them. I think they were in the 16" blade length for 13.00. Wht do you think on that price?
