Not a problem. I have seen one blow but no damage and it was a defective reload. I have put probably 50,000 rounds through mine without so much as a hiccup. Lead rounds with a factory barrell are a no no though. I only shoot quality loads through mine. 4 hours?!?! What where you shooting MB? I was shooting a Glock 22. Only about an hour was me getting to shoot. I was teaching the other three. I jump on the range if someone else is doing the classroom portion. Gotta keep up on my skills. glocks, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick,...... kaboom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. not mine or anyone i know, but don't shoot reloads.

Can't find the pics of the FiveSeven that blew up but I almost didn't buy one after I saw those pics. I don't do any loading so I figured I'd be alright.

I have a gun noob question. Do most of those kind of failures happen beacuse of reloads?

Seems the ones I have read about happen with reloads. I don't know if the reloaded ammo actually causes it or not. I can't recall the details behind the fiveseven but i recall that reloads where involved enough to cause me less concern.

I always hate the idea of getting another car. Even if it was a newer, nicer car I'd just don't like having to decide. If I'm luck my car will hold up for another year or two before I even consider buying anything else.

It is easy to do if you don't pay attention during reloading. Putting in twice the amount of powder is normally the cause. I have done the opposite and loaded up without powder in round.
The bullet stuck in the barrel of the my brand new Kimber when I was at the Seattle Police Range (it is an athletic association so they allow civvy members).
Thankfully I heard it and didn't put another round down the barrel after the first - that would have caused a lot of pain.
The guys in the range office hammered the stuck bullet out for me.
