But on a I guess happier note, not that it'll do me any good. I have a SOG Tigershark (original run) never used <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> that is a 9 out of 10 on the sog collector scale of buy at any price. And I also have a SOG Government that scores an 8.5 out of 10. Oh well.

A couple of years ago I bought a C.S. Magnum machete for my son-in-law and he really likes it. My latest machete purchase was a Schrade "Special Forces" 14" blade model. I was chopping some branches and noticed a couple of 7/8" chips gone - the wood was pretty frozen. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Anyway, I sent it back to Taylor Brands (Schrade) and they replaced it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> No thin blades for chopping frozen wood! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

frozen wood is hard to chop for anyghing! Oh and I forgot my Maringer vorpal sword that Was made by BlackJack. According to a site I found only about 400 of them were made (it's also never been used) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Randy - I have a few of the original style Tigersharks and a couple of the Government models as well. One of the Tigersharks has a blued blade.

Mine is the satin blade, marked S.M.CA under the square SOG logo. The Gov is mint except for a Bronze medallion I sort of melted into the handle Many Many years ago way back in the early 80's. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
