Well, I had an uneventful day. I thought I was going to use a Weaver 1.5-4.5x electro dot scope on my Marlin 1895 SB Guide Gun but I can not find a set of rings to work with it without making my head sit way too high. I guess that I might go back to an Aimpoint. Then again, I might run to the Bass Pro store and see what kind of optics they might have. Sure hate to spend money as it is knife money---know what I mean.

Then I passed on a very nice Ruger GP100 with a 4" brl, like new in the box for 300 bucks. Shoulda grabbed it but could not get the cash together and decided not to do it. Kinda regretting that one for sure. Would have been nice to have a s.s. revolver since my other .357 mags are blued.

I just use a set of WWG ghost rings on my Guide gun. Thats the best brush gun I have used in a long time.

On my SBL it came with the XS sights and rail system, full mag tube, large lever, laminated pg stock, and the Pachmyer Decelerator butt pad. I suggest that you find one of the pads as it is night and day difference over the regular GG pad.

I bought a decelerator pad and didn't care for it the fit was poor so I put the stock pad back on. I'm not real recoil sensative. I haven't found a lever I'm crazy about yet. Put a trigger happy kit in it right after I got it. That thing rocks. Thats a hog killing machine. I don't mind the noise even with the ports.
