I haven't been posting much, with all the driving and moving, and when I do, I'm mostly arguing about how much the guard on the regulator sucks

As much as I may agree you go ahead and tell yourself whatever you have to but I still want one.

way I figure it once the kids are out and on their own, I can worry about toys.
I also bought an atv in december so I don't have any cause to complain

The photo of the new design does nothing for me, at least until I hear the specs.

I stopped caring about the specs. There is no way I can imagine this version matching the test team one, if it doesn't fix the guard. The full flat grind on the TT regulator is absolute perfection.

More interested in the possibility of an eventual anorexic BOSS Street, and the SAR5 I'll be picking up soon to mod into a choilless woodcraft INFI blade.

I liked a lot of stuff about the TT Regulator but I really would have had to test it out more to comment one the one thing I did not like. It seemed the angle of the blade was back a bit. If hat makes since. Kind of like If I wanted to place the belly of the blade to a surface then I would be behind where I would be with other knives. I never really got to figure that one out. Other than that I really like and plan to hang onto my tt reg.

I almost traded for a Sar5... it's on my "list".

What are the mods you're thinking of?

I do hope I can snag a Ratmandu when they drop. Seems like a really solid user. I think it may be the right knife to keep in the car.
