Howdy all. Missed you guys last night but I was feeling way under the weather. Still not great today, but hey---above ground is better than below!

Bush, I love the fatwood claws. Can that fatwood be shipped to the US? Just thinking that a necklace of that would be good for me and as some gifts! Raise some flow for you too.

I got my Bushwacker in the mail yesterday. I traded for it, and I can see why so many like it. Love the flat grind, sharp as all get out, ergo of the handles is awesome. Don't think it will be the chopper a CGFBM is but then it should do some tasks the CGFBM doesn't do well. I think I found my new big blade. Still want a DFLE or DFSE!

Congrats on the BWBM Sumo - it's probably my favorite Busse to date, just an awesome, awesome knife.

I finally gave in and went with the apartment. Not happy about that decision, but at least I'm only a half hour drive away from some gorgeous outdoor locations, so I can still get away after work in the evenings for some choppin and assorted sundry fun. I will really miss having a yard, even if all I had before was a little postage stamp.

The trade off is, even if I have to deal with an apartment, Denver is still MUCH more my style of city, compared to Atlanta. Lots to do around here, and there is a gigantic open area literally five minutes walk from my new doorstep, for walking the dogs and riding a mountain bike. Can't beat that. At least I have a garage, so I can build a work bench and do SOME sort of work with my hands to keep me from becoming too urban.

Sumoj, I picked up my B/W today and yes it feels awesome, spent part of the afternoon making kydex pants for it and finishing the cover for the hg55. The Muk is still in transit. I'm really looking forward to that one and the new Reg if I can resist temptation while I still have tax refund left. [Linked Image from farm3.static.flickr.com]

MM, glad you got a place lined up. Sounds like you will have a nice place to explore and have fun at. Now, Bushwacker or CGFBM up there in the Rockies???

I have made a plan, as soon as wrestling season is over I am getting a cheap belt sander, drive to Jantz supply and pick up some belts. They are only an 1 1/2 hr away and there is some beautiful country down there. Bad thing is I was hoping to do it on spring break but I might be taking a trip to Chicago to pick my brother and his things up---I guess it is a good thing since he will be closer and I will have someone to go trekking with LOL.
