Man, the Canadians are having a rough time with the Winter Olympics already. First the death of a luge racer and now with their lighting ceremony. Hate that for them.

Yep thats an old timer finger skinner. Thats the best skinner I have ever seen. That knife has to be 28 years old and has skinned a ton of deer and elk. Still sharp as can be. Not bad for a 25 dollar knife. Sheath is only about 8 years old. I cut through the last one.

I watched a deal on the History Channel about the Winter Olympics and the process. They mentioned that the luge was going to be pushing the limits since it has a steep grade and the turns are really sharp. It was like they were trying to say that be prepared for something bad-then the accident today.

Yeah, supposed to be 4 pillars coming out of the ground to be light but only three made it out. Wayne Gretzky improvised though. I am looking forward to some hockey. Anyone else?

I'm jonesing for spring right now. Getting cabin fever and need to get to the range or a field of praire dogs soon. Reminds me of the only time I got to shoot P dogs.I was visiting my sister in Montana and she was staying at a place on the Flat Head river,20 acres maybe.Me & my bro would walk around and pick them off with my 10/22.Think we got 14 one day.

My record is 143 between a friend and I. We went to three infested properties and they had never been thinned out before. I have never had anything close to that day since.

143, that is some slaying. I don't know what a record is for me. The longest marked shot was 483 yds with a .22-250. Panhandle of OK gets real flat. A .45 ACP from a 1911 does a job too.

Literaly
Were were using a couple AR's and 10/22's for closer shots. I just picked up a CZ452 varmint in 22lr for up to 125 yard P-dog medicine. Hopefully it will warm up enough to take a few. The plague wiped out the majority of colonies a few years ago.

Great shooting there man.I used to have a Ruger #1V in 22-250.Never got to shoot dogs with it though.I was in N.C.on the coast.
