someone offered me $500 for my mud snake FBM. i don't think i need money that bad. rather keep it.

Secondary market is crazy high. Its pricey but not horrible to get them from Randall. But its a 5 year wait right now. I will spend my cash on Bussekin knives. I tend to use my field knives harshly. I would be afraid to do that with a knife with a 5 year wait.

i like the 1-7. it's actually the only randall i like, and i'm not a big randall fan. if it's really worth more than my rat, i'll do it for that alone. happens to be the one i like and probably would have bought years ago if they weren't so expensive.

still, these days, it's not that important to me. knives in general aren't. just sold my muddy waki. it's paying for a white dean guitar.

I'm generally really practical with knives in general. But i tend to keep them. I have almost every knive I have ever bought. Except a few that I lost or broke really badly.

I am debating selling a few knives i was given as a gift years ago. I'm sure somebody collects them. I just have no idea what they are worth and they are not users.

i feel bad about selling gift knives. haven't done it yet.

i have more knives than i'll ever need. i couldn't fit them all on my bed if i laid em out. when i need cash, the knives are the first thing to go.

at least busse and some other high enders hold their value
