thought you guys might like this

digital compass
Nice small size, but it needs batteries.

If you already carry a phone with a GPS built in, a cool little accessory is the Garmin Mobile XT. Gives you extra features, without any added weight. You already carry it anyway! Might as well always be able to know where you're going.

Oh, I also found a free program to use your phone while Geocaching. Good option if you want to have some fun and have time to kill.

I just ordered a gun-mount light for my CZ P-01!

It's the new Streamlight TLR-1s, the new "s" designates the added strobe feature (which I don't care for at the moment) but the lumens rating got bumped from 135 to 160. It was only a $5 upgrade so I went for it.

It doesn't require any tools to attach and the way it's designed, you never place your hand in front the muzzle trying to slide it on the rails. It snaps on from the side and has hand screws to tighten. The previous 2 generations have gotten nothing but good reviews and up there with the Surefires.

I figure it'll double as my flashlight while my surefire goes out for warranty.

Not my picture, but another fellow P-01 owner.

Hi,

I have the TLR-1 mounted on my AR15 and it is very nice for the money! It is a very combo with your CZ p01. I would love to have a CZ handgun in the near future.

Surefire makes their own version but it cost a few times more than the TLR-1 I believe.

I already have a nice kydex holster, but it won't take a light.

On the CZ forum, we have a "rainwalker" but for gun holsters that could easily make me a really sweet leather one, just haven't made up my mind yet if that's the setup I want.

I could attempt to make my own kydex sheath, but it's definitely going to be more difficult then a basic knife sheath. I'll see if my friend could help me make a leather one. Hmmm..

Actually, I'm looking at some tutorials online and it doesn't seem that bad.

thanks for the links, my local military surplus store carries a bunch of used leather and new nylon holsters, I'll see if they're ok with me bringing in my unloaded handgun to try some on. it is legal to unload open carry here but not not the best idea.
