solar set ups , a solar heater , have to set up to get back to glass work , and need to get my area set up for kydex and my belt sander.... so far almost there just gotta find a table up to the job.... plus i always have a half dozen side projects...

when you dont have a boss ... it can get very diversifed around here....

I don't know much about solar set ups, can you run your whole house off one, or would it have to be huge

I think it would be great to set up a Solar and a wind turbine set up on my next property. Its just not practical where I currently am though. Cool to hear of someone getting it done.

it depends on your useage .... im pretty power lite... but it still going to cost me a couple grand to be up to speed....

but its cheaper then a car... and saves me money so im ok with it...

im trying to build a couple wind mills too... but its a long project...

get a meter and figure out what you really do pay and what you use... its atleast halfed my power bill.... but i want a couple years to figure it out...

im hoping by the summer i can off set my fridge and some more lights and my security system...

due to the shop i cant be off grid but i can be close...

all the solar is built into a conex container , and can be broken down in a day , put on a truck dropped on my remote location , deployed and generating basic cabin power the next day.... thats the plan atleast.

seems youve really thought it out, sounds like a hell of a project. you should make a thread and show how you did some of it
