I don't spend as much time as I used to on this forum. It just doesn't feel as friendly as it was. It used to be a lot of fun, but then we used to post about all kinds of off topic stuff. We kept it friendly, though. It's still a good knife forum, though. I just couldn't get into all the recent complaining about the new Regulator.

I don't spend as much time as I used to on this forum. It just doesn't feel as friendly as it was. It used to be a lot of fun, but then we used to post about all kinds of off topic stuff. We kept it friendly, though. It's still a good knife forum, though. I just couldn't get into all the recent complaining about the new Regulator. been wondering if you have been busy with your girls...

My 19 year old is in AF Basic Training now. I bet she's glad she didn't go into the Marines about now. Good on her. she's coping with it? Yeah, I think she'll make it. You know how they beat you down to a lowly worm in the first two weeks. She was at that stage when she wrote me. It's a real shock to slack-a** civilians. She likes the ground combat stuff, her new boots and camo, and her ever present M-16. The harassment is something she isn't used to. Welcome to military life! I expect her next letter will be a bit more positive. I encouraged her, but I know they scared the heck out of me when I was her age. It's all part of the training.
