There is only one situation that would ever get me to spend large amounts of cash on a ring, and it ain't a skull cast from silver.... Luckily for me, I already bought the engagement ring, so I'm done forever. Our wedding bands will be simple, white gold, and relatively inexpensive. Yay for me for finding a woman who doesn't do jewelry <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Smart I bought the wife a wedding ring with a stone in it, it seemed to catch on things all the time and we almost lost the diamond a couple of times due to loose claws. So our last anniversary (22 years) HE11 I JUST REMEMBERED OUR ANNIVERSARY IS NEXT WEEK I bought her a simple white gold band

I haven't done much buying, but I'd say fairly similar - but remember all my buying in GA was in Atlanta. I bet if you traveled further outside the city, stuff would get cheaper.
I saw some Pappy 10 year around here, and prices were within a dollar or two of the prices in GA.

Doesn't matter where you buy here, it's all priced by the state. We have some of the most expensive booze around, we don't even bother putting taxstamps on our bottles.
