I'm hoping for a new item in the store by tomorrow morning....

We are having the west side state regional tournament here at our hs the next three days for boys and girls. Our boys are ranked 4th in the state. Bad thing is we will not get to see any of them since we will be at the state wrestling tournament. Hopefully the bb teams will do good and we can watch them at the state tournament.

Me too, but sunday would be better for me since I won't be around a computer until then--unless it is tonight!

Heck it might even be next week. Maybe after Renne gets back to speed after her father passing.

What size school ?

i was a 189 pounder in high school. which was tough for me cause i would have to come down from football at around 210 to make weigh. added to that we were deep into the playoffs every year in football, sucking the weigh was terrible. especially the senior year when i was barely making weight the whole season, didn't have any extra weight to cut. would have loved it if they had the 215 weight class when i was in school.

Even though I was a BB'er a lot of my buddies were always having to cut weight.
I used to give them a lot of [censored], but they were some dedicated dudes.

[censored], dropping 20 lbs for a 18yo is a ton....

Especially since you were already in football shape !

We are in the 5A class which is the second to largest in our state. My school is only about 75 kids away from dropping to the next smaller class which is 4A.

I was pretty lucky that I was always just a bit too big to pull. My brother on the other hand was a state placer his freshman year at hwt, then a 3 time state champion at 215. In college he wrestled 197 his freshman year but never could pass the hydration test. Spent the next three years wrestling hwt. College really needs to add a 225 lb class, and extend hwt to 300 or 310 with all the athletes getting bigger these days. Right now I am about 220-25 and really need to get back to lifting and better shape. Playing hard when I was younger has made some things a little difficult if you know what I mean LOL.

coaches always wanted to me to certify at 171 which was crazy cause the lightest i got in highschool was 179 during my sophmore year the middle of the season after i had the flu for a week and hadn't eaten in 4 days.
