I almost always mange some personal time on business trips. I think I have only traveled once and not been able to do anything during my down time. Of course due to budget restrictions I only teach in state. No more out of state gigs.

That's what I liked when I had to go TDY to Korea from Japan. I only had to "work" a couple or 3 hours a day and the rest was free time. But it took about an hour, hour and a half travel each way so a 3 hour day really wound up being about 6. Still had plenty of play time though.

I usually put in at least a 10 hour day teaching. But i always tried to get some local flavor in before bed.

I was planning on rabbit hunting but season closed yesterday <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Seems like a slow night. Guess everybody is coming down from an adrenalin dump thinking they might get a chance to spend some bucks tonight. Oh well, Gremlins seem to like Steel as well and are trying to keep us from gettin them!
