M/B - where were you living then, to be on the fault line?

I have only felt one and It was in an unlikely place. I was driving down the road and it felt like I hit the weirdest cross wind but I was looking at the brush and it wasn't swaying in the breeze. Thought something was wrong with my truck until they announced a 4. something quake.

Dad was in the Army in Korea. He (surveyed) layed in the big guns. He had a duce and a half with TWIN 50's mounted on it! Said it WAS BAD!!!

When I was younger I thought it would be kind of neat to be in a big enough quake to bounce around in a recliner as long as nothing was damaged. The older I get the less fun that sounds.

When I was in the Philippines we had one that bounced the bed across he floor for about 10-15 seconds.

Yes, I think that if a quake was strong enough to bounce around someone in a recliner, it would be doing some serious damage! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I've been through Earth quakes, typhoones, Hurricanes, Tornado, ain't NONE of them fun!
