Oh, Meant to ask, What do you carry your kit in. The UPDATED one from your site? think that UTG bag would be a better choice?

On a different note, I am thinking about getting that Gerber bladder/pack I posted a link to yesterday, what do you think? It's supposed to hold 135oz of water and 405ci of additional space for $30.00.

I didn't see the link, and didn't know gerber made hydration packs.

That sounds like a ample water supply, and just the right amount of space for the other necessities.

Looks like someone is not happy with getting their nails clipped. That's gonna be a precious picture years from now.

Usually, in my pocket.

I thought your kit was bigger than that.

It was on the large side, for my pocket, but I was able to trim down the size, some. Also, I wear pants with very large pockets.

It's good that you always have something on you, considering what, the places you go. You could get caught out unawares due to darkness, weather or what. Now me. I am just looking for something (the thinks I mentioned above PLUS some first aid stuff) for short "hikes". I said somewhere that due to my wife's health issues we don't usually wander more than a couple miles from the Jeep and not in what wou would call rugged (mountains) or even really large hills. Just woods somewhat swampy at times.

I thought it might work out for us. Now, you are probably saying, If they don't go wandering out "In the wilds" why does he need a 7 1/2 inch ADAMANTIUM steel blade for. Well I don't I just wanted them. Plus, we have ran up on deer (they CAN be dangerous), I've got ran off by Beaver, Racoons, Nutrea and a BUNCH of snakes. Oh, there are also wild hogs over there at MINGO but we have not seen any of them yet. I would rather have it and not need it... and sometimes a hiking staff just isn't enough.

I would never say that.

Nutria? Cool. I'd love to photograph some nutria.
