i was thinking about getting a sage warden to match my sage RMD too! i have a scrapper5 and a SOD in sage also. probably should have went with sage instead of moss...oh well

hey evo. everything's all right. i should be in bed resting for paintball in a few hours. think i may just go next week instead. i also have a jam in the evening so it's just as well i don't exhaust myself.

hi tonester. i'm mag. i care about tone. Photographers (such as I) care about tone, too – though the word doesn't mean quite the same thing in photography as in music.

yeah i remember tone from art class, though i don't recall that definition. value?
i also remember that tint and shade are opposites, but i forget which one is darker and lighter.

I showed my brother the pics of the Regulator, a Swamp Warden, the HR, and the RMD. I told him that I was getting him one and asked him what he liked. We talked about the blades, steel, etc. Asked me which one I would get if I were him and I said the Reg based on working in the field etc. He said he like the looks of the Reg the best too. I know he has a folder that was given to him about 10 years ago and a fiked damascus blade that I handled but that is it. I know he is strapped for cash, so I ordered another Regulator last night so I could give it to him. The way I look at it with the folder in pocket he can do small chores, and with the Regulator he can do larger chores. We live in OK so making shelter and fire is done with smaller woods and the Regulator fits that perfect. thats awesome man. im sure hes gonna love it

That sounds wise, Mag.
I often make similar decisions. In particular, I try not to schedule a macro photography or intertidal photography session too close to babysitting my ex's little kids, because it's too exhausting to do both.

First day in a long time that it's on the mend. I'm not all better, yet, but at least I finally feel like I'm headed in the right direction.
