Is that satin or is it coated - hard to see from the pic. It's a tan coating, not sure if it's sage, or a straight up tan, but it's coated. Looks perfectly matched for the handle color. An amazing knife!

My boxed stuff is in an area I store my tents and sleeping bags so i forget its there. Will probably get rid of 90% of it. I know a few boxes are stuff from when I was in a specialized unit and would regret tossing it out.
The rest I'm not even sure what it is.
My wife on the other hand has 4 huge boxes O'stuff I dare not touch. About 1/4 of her photo room.

How goes the packing? I hope well. I told my wife if we move again I am leaving everything except my guns, ammo, knives, fishing, reloading gear, packs, and bows. If she wants her great-great-grandmothers furniture then I would move it too. Forget all the other stuff--especially if a cross-country move. What do you reload? I've been sticking to 45acp and the 5.7 (a small round that I really like). 38 spcl, 357 mag, .44 Rusian, .44 spcl, .44 mag, .45 acp, .45 colt, 5.56mm, .243 win, .30-30 win, .308 win, .30-06 spr, .45-70 gov't, .22-250, .22 hornet. That is what I can load now even though I don't have a gun of all of the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> Should have asked what you don't load... The list would have been shorter

Funny thing was that there was a guy there who moved his bookshelves, a comfy chair and lamp into the one unit. That was his little escape. Every time we went in during the evening he would be sitting in the chair reading. Obviously his home life was getting too much....

I have a friend that does that except its his office in one of our substations. I will be working on a weekend or holiday and he is there in his office doing nothing just to get away from his wife.
He is off and I don't have a choice but to work. I don't get it.

I understand. Sometimes I am more relaxed at school in the evening than I am at home. Better there, in a unit, or a office than in a strip bar throwing money away that can be used on great steel!
