I really like being outdoors a lot. I really like making art. I really like sharing and communicating my visions and experiences with others. There are many parts that I find very enjoyable, and even deeply satisfying.

I don't like office work drudgery (and there's a lot of that). I don't like sales and marketing.

I like owning my own business – but I'm really not a very pleasant boss to work for.

I like being independent, but it can sometimes be uncomfortable for the salary to be irregular.

Overall, I like it a lot.

When you say you wanted to "get into"photography, tonester: you mean professionally? What kind of photography do you want to do?

Not really very much, lately. I've been so sick.

Instead, I've been catching up on a lot of office work.

yah i wanted to go professional. i entered a few contest here and there. i got books and did a lot of research, and i guess it kinda scared me. i mean i still take pics all the time. i like taking pictures of landscapes and clouds. i have hundreds of pics of just clouds. anything that has to do with nature.

Are you a good photographer?

im pretty good. not the best. everyone always tells me that i have a really good eye and composition, that i never have any "dead space" in my photos. i would say that im not to good with action shots yet. but i know how to meter and get good lighting.

i also love shadows and patterns.

Do you have your own vision? DO you have your own style? Do you know what resonates with you? Do you have something to "say"?

from all the research ive done, its supposed to be one of those "gems" that hasnt been "discovered" yet by many who are attracted to the bigger names like glock, SIG or HK.

By the way, you don't have to be a god photographer to be a successful professional photographer. Marketing savvy can substitute for skill. However, it is a more pleasant job, if you can do it well.

yah my vision is to show everyone how amazing this earth is through my view. one of the reasons i love clouds is because they are like finger prints, no two clouds are ever the same or will ever be the same. and when the weather and the lighting is just right its amazing. i would say i have my own style, i mean i hate it when i take a picture and i can tell that it looks like anyone could have taken it.
