I really get excited about all the ideas/talk ref prepairing for IT to happen. Then the reality of outgoing Vs. incoming set in. Oh well, small steps and hope I have not waited to long.

Hey Peaz, I think someone said it was a P model or something. What does that mean. It's a pretty car, but out of my price range.

I have a basement full of stuff, but it didn't happen overnight! I have been storing/prepping for years, even before the Y2K scare. There are enough natural disasters to worry about, let alone terrorists or whatever. I watch for appropriate items on sale, and add to my food supplies a little at a time.

I think that is one of the things to consider - it takes time to prepare! Unless you're wealthy, you can't do it all at once. Remember the old saying: " The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step". The same holds true with prepping - a little every week or two WILL add up! Just sit down, think about what you would need in various situations, and make a list. Then, buy items when they are on sale - it saves for MORE preps! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

It DOEs look like a really nice ride. WAY back, probably before you were born, I came back to the U.S. in 1977. Bought a 1972 Chevy Caprice with only 17000 miles on it! Cherry ride. Was kept in a garage while the owner was working on a river tug. When he was home he and his wife spent most of their time out doors. Cost me all of $2000.00!!! THAT was a deal.
