Hi Tony! Looks like the worst of it is past us, just mainly rain and strong winds. There were a couple of tornadoes sighted, but fortunately they fizzled out before reaching us. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I finally caved and placed my order for a Tanker grey/black paper HRLM yesterday, got my confirmation today

Hi Tony! Looks like the worst of it is past us, just mainly rain and strong winds. There were a couple of tornadoes sighted, but fortunately they fizzled out before reaching us. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> glad to hear everything is ok! we actually had a couple tornado warnings and tornado cells here in so-cal, it was weird! i liked it when all we had to worry about was earthquakes!

I finally caved and placed my order for a Tanker grey/black paper HRLM yesterday, got my confirmation today that color combo is gonna look really nice! is black paper pretty much black g-10?

The black paper I saw looked and felt to be somwhere between micarta and g10.
After my M9LE slipped out of my hand one day I'm not sure how I feel about G10 on a big blade anymore. I think I might stick to micarta on and anything over 5". I ordered the black paper on on my ratmandu's though.

I ordered the black paper on on my ratmandu's though. Great choice-I also went with several combos but I think the Howler might be very interestig. I ordered a few and going to strip and put orange G10s on it to see how i like it.
