I teach school and I know for a fact that there are people that are out of work that think less of themselves. I just hope that the economy turns u fpr the people out there.

P, that is a great looking knife. I bet you are stocked. Sorry to hear about your BMW not working out. That was a very nice looking ride. Yeah, I'm still on it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I have to have one before 2012, just in case. I must go 200 MPH in a luxury sedan, blasting some Warren Zevon, before I die.
Enjoy every sandwich.

The teachers here in Oregon are getting pounded by cuts and it is tough. I served on the school board and I couldn't take it after 6 yaers of trying to get funding. The bottle is empty and i don't know where to get more. I own a biz and i can tell you that we are giving all we can. Would be tough to be in education- congrats on that

To me a 16" brl on a .308 is a little under used. a 18" brl is more optimum. The 16" gives up some in the long range but adds easier mobility. FN, that is a nice rifle.
BTW, I was looking at a FN 9mm today. I must admit that I was really liking how it fit in hand. What does a mag run for one--avg? guranteed to hit 8"x13" steel plates at 300 yards.

I think those FNP mags are around $35-45... I loved the feel of the FNP with the larger grip. I will be on the look out for the FNX since it's controls are like my FNP45.

The bottle is empty and i don't know where to get more. I own a biz and i can tell you that we are giving all we can. Would be tough to be in education- congrats on that I do believe all states are facing a bad time in education. I just read where if OK was to use all the rainy day fund from the legislature and the Obama stimulus plan we would still be way short to fund everything. The bad thing is that the kids are going to be getting less in materials, programs will be limited in travel distances, no new teachers, larger classes (my largest is 35 right now in history), etc. I know there are a few things that could be done but the boards of education, teachers, and parents are not willing to do them: 1)I know the amount of paper used by a school is tremendous. Have students supply their own paper for assignments, notes, grade reports, tests, etc. Copy paper could be saved this way. 2)Teachers need to have students take notes, real notes. When, and if, a student goes to college they will have to take notes so why not start now. The only time I use copy paper is for tests. By having students take notes they hear the information audibly, write it visually, and read it again later. If handouts are given they "may" look at them once and think they have studied. 3)Parents provide for their kids transportation. Yes, parents pay to have their children picked up and dropped off after school. Extend the limit of walking to school--based on age of course. 4)Look at alternative school year calender. A little longer day, more breaks for time off, but lessen the length breaks. I could go on but I am just a teacher and not in administration.

Sweet looking FAL. I built more FALs than I want to remember. The Izzy look was always a favorite of mine. The Para I built with a 16" brl was cool but I prefered a 18" brl with a fixed stock--kinda Congo. I have been thinking about a FAL again but I dont have the tools and long left the FAL Files when the some things went south over there. The FAL Files used to be a home away from home but it got bad and I just stopped going there. Oh well, I got my M1A.
