One little tick bite, during that photo shoot, and I ended up nearly dying from a dread disease, which I still haven't fully recovered from, 4 years later.

Oh man! ticks are EVERYWHERE around here and I am always concerned about them. Whenever the wife and I are "out in the bush", first thing when we get home is a bath in bleach water, Hoping that will kill any ticks or chiggers we might have picked up.
BTW, Hummingbirds are what got my wife started getting seriously (for us anyway) in photography and has lead us through 5 cameras, this last one being her Canon EOS XS.

She's got a picture of one that we call Bumper Butt. It has no tail feathers! and really looked funny flying around.

Well for amatures I would say yeah she has. We've got several pictures of them setting on either my or her fingers. Now THAT was awsome!
