Seems like it may not be to bad of a system. One of these (or more) and some aquapure (or something like it), and should be good-to-go!

I would think so! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I have a couple of Gravidyns for at home use, and a few Pockets and Combis for portable/on the road use. I checked out the Gravidyn filters and found some for about $85.00 somewhere but would need 2. The monolithic filter may not filter down to 0.2microns but how small do you realistically need to go? And If you combine it with purification tablets of some kind (what do you recommend) things should be ok.

Randy, several of the tablets are good - Katadyn's Micropur-1, Aqua-Mira,Potable Aqua, and PolarPure crystals just to name a few. The first two are chlorine based, the second two are iodine based. I've heard most about the micropur-1. but I think Andy once said something about the PolarPure crystals. By the way, has anyone heard from Andy. Haven't seen a post from him in a while. Wonder if he's ok?
