I am sure Dan will provide some means of of clothing for our new knife. After all we can't have them running around naked.

Dave/Leatherface said he was going to work on a sheath for the DM. Perhaps a bunch of us should band together and put in order for kydex DM sheaths? That would at least give him time to order materials and what not.

I think this little brute just cries out for a low profile kydex sheath. I had been considering getting an Ont/RAT-5 or TAK to replace the RAT-3 I gave away. I would love a SS4, but who knows when they will be available again. I think this little Mutt with one of Leatherman's kydex sheaths just might do the trick.

I like that I just may go kydex on this one.

The DM seems like a kydex sheath would be more fitting the style of the Mutt.
I have been considering a Spec Ops navigator sheath for mine ever since I got the DF sheath. The nav sheath has a pouch for a flashlight (like my new Fenix)that you can use even when it it is in the sheath.

I'm not a big kydex fan but for this knife it somehow fits.

That is what the dogs in the yard have been saying. A nice compact kydex sheath would make the little big dog (as you call it) a great EDC, I think.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Yep I think kydex would work well.

Dave just said on the Dumpster Mutt thread that he will be making some at a good price for the dogs in the yard! That is great news.

Hey Dan,will a sheath be available for the Mutt? Thanks

We will not be offering a sheath at this time.

We have numerous sheath makers in the Yard so I would reach out to them. Of course you will need to contact them outside of the forum for any details.

Dan
