honestly, kill percent doesn't mean much to me. .45's like havin a v8, it's just fun. 9mm is just the chambering for a lot of really nice handguns. if the p-01, 92fs, 228, p7m8, hi power, et cetera were .22's, i wouldn't care about 9mm.
the parker hale pdw is like the unicorn sub gun. only images i have of it are in a book i have and there are a few scattered online. it's a burst fire only 9mm that runs 400 rpm, supposedly eliminating recoil completely. it looks like an electric stapler.

M 22,I'm sure the 357 sig is a good round but I believe bigger is better-45 45 45 I believe that .357sig is supposed to have the highest killing % among itself, 9mm, .40, and .45. I carry the .45, but statistically, I think the .357sig may have some advantages (magazine capacity is definately one!) It's one shot stop % not killing % and the .40/135gr. and .357Mag/125gr. loads are right there if not ahead.

OK - my bad - I was just working from memory. The sig has better penetration than the .40 though, and the .357 mag is kind of in a league of its own compared to the others!

they're all nine out of ten anyway, right? the two percent differences in my eyes are insignificant. beside there are many factors ignored by those statistics. who stops firing after one shot? how do they really know how many times a single shot failed? any time a single shot failed, and it's possible many shots failed, that data never makes it to the study. go with your gut and keep it simple, bigger holes. don't get me started on hydrostatic shock.

I do agree with you though - I don't carry and have never fired the .357 sig, but I've heard great thigs about it. I have my 9mm as my OD/EDC because I wanted 10 rounds in a small frame. I go with the 1911 as a full size just because it is tried and true, I like .45ACP, and it is pretty accurate. I've also got some Wilson Combat upgrades on it... and it just looks good on the hip! I carried a Glock 22 (.40) for a couple of years and really liked it as well.

I Like G-17s their hard to beat. Kind of like the SYKs of the gun industry. Rugged reliable and inexpensive. I think I may pick up a G-26 in the future. I also like 44 magnums
For rifles ...I like alot but I've settled into the 45-70. It's stood the test of time, it can be loaded to take anything from rabbits to elephant and everything in between. Life is good
