Favorite depends on what use you are planning to make of the gun. With that in mind here are my favorites:

Rifles
Fun: Marlin 1894 in 44 magnum
Match Shooting: M1 Garand
Social Work: AR-15

Handgun
Fun: Colt Mk IV Series 70 in .45 ACP
Match Shooting: Colt Mk IV Series 70 in .45 ACP
Social Work: Colt Mk IV Series 70 in .45 ACP
EDC: Makarov 9x18 with Makawrap grip.

Honorable Mention for just plain fun:
Ruger Bisley Vaquero in .44 Mag
Browning BDM 9mm
M1 Carbine
SKS
AK-47
All kinds of black powder weaponry.

When I'm not sharpening my knives I like to clean my guns...

Being a cheap bastid I like my Ruger Single Six because it shoots where I'm lookin'.

For Home Protection I try to keep my Colt Commander 45 ACP available but since I have grandchildren around alot now she's back in the locker most of the time.

However, my NAA .380 Guardian stays close and with Hydra-Shocks in it I'm sure she can get the job done within these walls.

My list would be to expansive to go into right now. I do love My Kimber Polymer. 13+1 of .45 ACP makes Daddy happy. I have a .40 Super barrel for it but unfortunately I could never get it to cycle properly, and Triton is now out of business. However, the .40 Super was strngthened .45 brass, cut to 10mm length, and necked down for a .40 bullet. It drove a 135 gr. bullet at 1800 fps, and a 200 gr. bullet at about 1200 fps.

Those are all winners for sure. Since I am not currently in the Army, I'll have to make do with what I have:
Rifle: Bushmaster AR-15 Heavy Barrel Fluted, with ATS Scope.
Pistol: Kimber 1911
Sniper: none
Shotgun: Remington 870

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I like it as well as my SIG p220. I have a thing for 1911s. I have two little Mossberg 500 20 ga shotguns for home defense; one with a pistol grip on it. The 870 has the steel receiver and all, but the Mossbergs seem reliable enough.

Pistol: 1911

Rifle: AR, AK, Garand, Mauser and Marlin 1894 in .44 Magnum. Those are my favorites that I own.

Shotgun: I have an 870 but I'm not a big shotgun fan. I guess I like shooting trap but my 870 isn't really setup for that.
